Service Description: The Veterans’ Services Office (VSO) provides professional and confidential assistance to all veterans that reside in the Town of Winchendon, per regulations associated with Massachusetts General Law Chapter 115, along with CMR 108. Veterans from outside of Winchendon are welcomed to contact this office; however, will be directed to the proper Veterans Agent responsible for their hometown in regard to the receipt of financial assistance. All veterans have a right of a thorough review of benefits they may qualify for, receive the appropriate guidance and assistance with the execution of required forms, are treated with dignity and respect with the strictest of confidentiality, and will receive financial assistance if eligible per approval from the Boston Veterans’ Services Office.
