Service Description:
The Mission of the Town Manager is to maximize the potential for Winchendon's boards, committees and staff to respond effectively to community, business and individual citizen needs.
Appointed by the Board of Selectmen, the Town Manager serves as the Chief Administrative Officer of the community responsible for the day-to-day administration of the town's business. Additionally, the Town Manager supports and advises the Selectmen and, on occasion, other boards and committees in matters of policy formulation.
As the senior member of the town's professional staff, the Town Manager leads the town's operating agencies to ensure effective and efficient delivery of town services.
